(I was actually in the mall, on line waiting to buy a Popeye t-shirt when I saw the display for Yankees World Series Champions t-shirts, that I thought of this comic…)
because u yankee fans arent really fans they are all just posers real philly fans thou buy it because they want the latest fan gear but when u do the same thing for a cartoon or movie u are also just buying into the moment kool beans p.s. i like ur comics hopefully soon when i get rid of dilbert from the papeer ur th next one that will go up
Lol, I don’t know enough about sports to comment about any particular team or it’s fans… but I hear what you’re saying.
I know I usually only buy the t-shirt if I like the cartoon or movie so much I own the dvd or the action figure…. but that’s easy since I have a desk full of toys…

Yes, in fact dorianmode is quite correct: in this case the dative/accusative case is entirely applicable.
And you just know that *everybody* was thinking that once they hit that line….

Honestly, I just don’t have the required grammar knowledge to feel comfortable using the word “whom”.
Well, I was thinking that.
Usually you should use ‘whom’ wherever you’d use ‘him’ if you knew who you were talking about. Wait, doesn’t that mean I should have said ‘whom you were talking about’, since I’d say, ‘you were talking about him’? Yet this example doesn’t stand out to me as such an obvious error. I think I’ve grammar-nerdsniped myself.
