After I drew this comic, I went on google to try and verify this fact.
I discovered on Wikipedia, that the cave in question is called the Bronson Caves, and it’s featured in a lot more TV and Movies (and B-Movies) than just the two I mentioned!
Most important, it was used as the entrance to the Bat Cave in the 1960′s Adam West version of Batman! (OMG!)
Other movies it was in that I’ve seen:
The Brain from Planet Arous (1957)
Teenagers from Outer Space (1959)
Those are both terribly awesome B-Movies!
I must visit this cave the if I ever go to L.A.!

@moniBologna I’m afraid to say i’m a movie buff (there are so many movies i havent seen yet but should have, lol) I had a professor that tried convincing me to go into film. I’m more a fan of obscure 1950′s B-Movie Science Fiction… it’s hard finding people to watch with me, lol

@moniBologna Well the outside part is taken from a real diner, but the inside was filmed in a studio.. I’ve also been to the firehouse they used for the outside shots of Ghostbusters…(the indoor scenes were shot in LA)
I hear ya on musicals, the only musicals I’ve really enjoyed was Dr. Horrible, The musical episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Sweeney Todd (Big tim burton fan)
Hmm, in terms of the 1950′s B-movie Sci-Fi Genre, I would have to say Ed Wood’s masterpiece, Plan 9 From Outer Space (considered to be the worst movie ever made) is a must watch. Also Teenagers From Outer Space, lol.
But maybe first try to see Ed Wood, which is a Tim Burton movie about the life of Ed Wood, the director of Plan 9, the “Worst Director Of All Time”. I think that movie helps you appreciate what these B-Movies are all about. “The Triumph of Will Over Talent.”

They sound funny, not like “HAHA” funny but funny because of how ridiculous it could be =)

I think these movie are enjoyable because not only are they “so bad they’re good.” but the actors and everyone involved with the movie are really trying and you can sort of feel that naive excitement and hopefulness in the movie…
and some of the “special” effects are laugh out loud funny, lol

Yeah i used to make short lil films sicne i am a film production major. I would show you them but they are mostly on vhs and at my dads house. hmpf.

I think on a classic movie, like citizen kane, it would be a crime to try and colorize it…. but for Plan 9 it works… plus most of my friends won’t watch a movie unless it’s color (shame on them) so it helps to have both versions…

Most of my old movies are claymation because i didnt know anyone who would be on my movies
and i totally agree with you on the idea that classic films should NOT be colorized, it ruins them sometimes.
Also, when filming back when there was no color, some of the color choices in outfits were changed so they stood out on black and white. Thats why when you buy fake blood, sometimes its brown, this is because when filming in black and white, the brown fake blood would look better than red.

True, but the way they add color with computers, they could just make it red, but it still doesn’t look like real color, they have a few colorized three stooges episodes too..

You should try n find one, they will have lower prices and typically a used dvd store will check every dvd they have in stock for damages too

I decided to netflix… it really works for me.
Yeah, but my whole family used the netflix account, so it takes a while to get the movie I want…
Plus I’m a big of a hoarder, lol, I like knowing I have it on dvd or on my bookshelf… (I just bought the Ninja Turtle boxset, lol)
