I still order comic books and DVD’s from Amazon…my latest were “The Guild” seasons 1-3 and from amazon on demand was “The Legend Of Neil”. Check them out (you can view them all free online but they are worth paying for). Also check out Dr. horrible’s Sing along blog.
I LOVED Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, and I bought the dvd. I watched the first season of the guild on youtube, really liked it, but haven’t watched the rest…. The Legend of Neil was ok but I stopped watching a few episodes in because there were too many ads on the site. (Atom Films, right?)
Oh, and Amazon canceled everyone’s order for those Marvel Omnibuses I posted last week…. but they sent a $25 Gift Certificate to make up for it so I’m happy!
plus you dont order online from BB&B, you go in store and use the 20% off coupons that you end up having hundreds of in the mail…and avoid shipping costs
Well if you pay 1.99 on amazon on demand you can watch the whole season 1 (26 minutes) no ads no interruptions and I thought it was awesome…definitely worth it.
As for Comics…have you read:
Y the last man
Preacher
V for Vendetta
Wathcmen
Deathnote (Manga)
Hmm, I might actually do that… (when I get some money, lol)
Right now I have that Sam’s Strip Collection, Batman in the Forties, Batman in the Fifities, and The Fantastic Four: Masterworks Collection Vol. 1 in my cart, but I’m not letting myself order it until I clean my room….
I read and have a copy of Watchmen, love the movie V for Vendetta but haven’t read the graphic novel… the problem with the list is that I just can’t get into serious adult comics… that’s why I like the older Marvel and DC stuff, and newspaper comics (and why I would love to have my own syndicated strip…)
lol, but “Y the last man” is 60 issues!
you think the library would have it? lol
We have Comic Book Jones, which is new, and Jim Haley’s Universe, those are the only two Comic Book shops on Staten Island I think… there used to be one in the mall years ago… i remember going there when I was little…
Tutles are awesome!! but never get an African Sideneck unless you know the breeder because their soft shell can rot easily… always get a red eared slider because they have a hard shell. (if you are buying petco or petsmart.)
That sucks… yeah there certainly is more pressure for girls… but the “Stupid Inventor” is just so clueless when it comes to girls so he gets some pity too…
I’ve heard of it, not much of an expert…
I changed the titles of the webpages, so instead of just random letters and numbers, it becomes the title of the comic… I was told that makes them more searchable on google…
Well, basically you do anything to get it seen more on google. For instance, if you were to type my name into google a good percentage of it would lead you to ME
Your titles, urls, names and differnt things make it easier to find on google.
just so you know, already joined Comichovel so I can vote on your comic once it is posted on there .I can start reading them from the beginning on comichovel now .

The latest comic book I ordered was this: http://www.amazon.com/TOON-Treasury-Classic-Childrens-Comics/dp/0810957302/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_b
The storylines are more kid oriented (got it more to read to my little cousins), but the art is great.

Think I’m going to get this: http://www.amazon.com/Sams-Strip-Mort-Walker/dp/1560979720/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1268666877&sr=1-1
Plus maybe a reprint collection of early Fantastic Four or Batman comics…
plus you dont order online from BB&B, you go in store and use the 20% off coupons that you end up having hundreds of in the mail…and avoid shipping costs
hahahahahahahaha my family does that all the time!
But these gifts are probably from a wedding registry, which is why it’s shipped.

Tutles are awesome!! but never get an African Sideneck unless you know the breeder because their soft shell can rot easily… always get a red eared slider because they have a hard shell. (if you are buying petco or petsmart.)

Which ones are the best to teach Karate?
the ninja kinda.
You have to look in the sewer for them though.
They wear funny masks, walk on two on their legs, and are typically named after famous artists.
lol, btw, I watched the first two live action movies this past week, and they still rock!
I would put turtles on the short list of pets I would own… but they’re still too much maintenance… lol
awesome!
yeah turtles are A LOT od maintenance until you build a routine. lol
yeah I can imagine!
It much cost a fortune in Pizza!
HAHAHHAHAHAHA

lol, I have a giant Ninja Turtle toy on my desk, that’s enough turtle for me…
oh wow! That is too funny!!!
Wait, how old are ya?
and btw you’re never too old for comics.
Lol, I just turned 22.
Very true… just thought it was a funny coincidence!
too bad you werent born on February 2 the year 2000…. 2/22/22 you would be 22. Absolutely no sense but I thought Id through it out there.
hilarious!
Darn!
But then I would only be 10 years old so I wouldn’t be able to have this comic…
I have a friend who was born on 08/08/88… and he weighed 8lbs, 8 ounces (no joke! )
@stupidinventor
Lol try being the only single chick around couples gettin’ married and couples who are “oh-so-happy” lol
