I’ve Made It To The Final Five!
By stupidinventor on June 23rd, 2010Posted In: Stupid Inventions Blog
I just wanted to let everyone know that Stupid Inventor has made it into the Top 5 Finalists in The Washington Post’s America’s Next Great Cartoonist Contest! Thank you to everyone who voted and spread the word!

The next step will be that I have to submit a Sunday strip and then there will be another round of voting, so I will keep you all posted.
I also want to bring attention to Tony Murphy’s project. He’s trying to start a weekly paper that would be free in coffee shops and the like containing a weeks worth of comic strips. I for one think it’s a great idea and have pledged some money, and they need about $500 more to reach their goal…. so if anyone has any spare change please give to the cause (even $1 would be great)

Thanks again everyone!

And thanks to everyone for their help!
Just don’t forget the little people when you make it to the top!
Who are you again?
Hahahahaha just kidding!
Don’t worry I won’t… but first let’s see me actually get to the top!
C’mon Zack! Beat ‘em all!
ha!
we’ll find out in July!
>:O Awesome! Thats really cool that you got to the top 5 out of 500 people!
Thanks!
Yeah, now I’m really going to work hard to make it to #1… may even print up cards to give out…
lol cool. You should put the squirrel guy on them as your official mascot or something.
yeah thats what I did, I just printed them on pieces of paper and cut them out and gave them out to people during the first round of voting.
This way people would remember to vote and they would have the address of the site with them too.
